Opening my blog with a little of mom's humor...I gave mom the book, "Owen and Mzee" The true story of a hippo and tortoise who became best friends after Owen, the hippo, was stranded following the 2004 tsunami. She looked at the cover, and says to me, "What is a MeZieEh?" Meaning what kind of animal is a "metzieh." In Yiddish, "metzieh" means bargain...lololol love the times that I can laugh
